A free vaccination and canned food drive has been organized by A Group of Concerned Citizens (AGCC) to take place at Uptown Vicksburg mall (formerly Pemberton Square Mall) on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Vaccinations are free, but donation of at least one canned good is appreciated.  All donations will benefit Lifting Lives Family Shelter.

First, second and booster doses will be available for adults and children ages 12 and up.  Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccinations will be available.

Boosters are recommended for adults age 65 and older or adults 18-64 at high risk of severe COVID-19 and those with frequent institutional or occupational exposure.  Pfizer and Moderna boosters are recommended at least six months since vaccination and Johnson & Johnson boosters are recommended at least two months since vaccination.

Questions or concerns may be addressed with Jan Kelly at 662-300-8493.
