In the final game of their football season, the Vicksburg Junior High School Gators had a big win Tuesday night as they defeated Germantown 56-14.

Quarterback Michael Johnson made three touchdowns in the victory. He threw two touchdowns to wide receiver Delvechio Ellis.

The Gators really stepped up on defense and many players forced turnovers and returned them for touchdowns.

Larry Winters, Clifton Walker and Maurice Taylor all had forced fumbles, and they returned them for touchdowns that were over 50 yards. Cedric Blackmore also forced a turnover when he caught an interception and returned it for a 30-yard touchdown.

The VJHS Gators end their season with a 3-2 record.
