Vicksburg Warren School District reports first student testing positive for COVID-19

The Vicksburg Warren School District reported its first student with a positive COVID-19 test Monday.

The student attends the Academy of Innovation. One other student at the school is being quarantined due to possible exposure.

To date since the start of school Aug. 17, the district has reported three teachers or staff have tested positive at South Park Elementary and one additional teacher or staff member was quarantined for the week ending Aug. 21.
