Shoemaker stood before Circuit Court Judge Toni Terrett on Thursday and pleaded guilty for the murder of Sheila Marie Hedrick.

In April 2022, authorities were alerted to a possible deceased body at a home in the 200 block of Leland Drive.

Upon arrival, Warren County deputies discovered the body of Sheila Marie Hedrick, 48, who had sustained at least one gunshot wound.

Several hours later, authorities arrested Shoemaker and charged him with first-degree murder. Shoemaker’s relationship to Hedrick is unknown at this time. Both listed the same address as their place of residence.

Shoemaker was initially denied bond by Judge James Jefferson in Justice Court.

Shoemaker will be sentenced on July 6th.
