The Vicksburg Junior High Gators were able to get revenge against Germantown in a 25-19 victory Thursday night.

Michael Johnson led the Gators in points as he put up 9 on the night. He also had played great defense, finishing with multiple rebounds. The game mostly relied on both teams’ defense.

VJHS took a 13-7 halftime lead. Decorey Knight Jr came out hot in the second half as he hit a big 3-pointer. He finished the game with 6 points.

Mincer Minor IV stepped up big on defense and finished with 4 points.

VJHS now has a 8-1 record, and they got back at the Mavericks who beat them a couple of weeks ago.

The Gators won’t play again until Thursday, Dec. 10, when they travel to play county rivals Warren Central.
