Vicksburg Junior High School football team kicks off practice

The Vicksburg Junior High School football team has kicked off its practice this week to prepare for the upcoming season.

Head coach Larry Carter Jr. made the announcement Tuesday to the Vicksburg Daily News.

Carter said practices will be held Monday through Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

“Players should arrive at the field house (between) 7 and 7:15 for temperature check,” Carter said.

The VJHS coaching staff has been following the COVID-19 rules placed by the Mississippi High School Activities Association. If any parents or players have questions regarding practice, they can email coach Carter at lcarter@vwsd.org.
